Approximately 12 years ago I went through one of the scariest experiences of my life. I developed a generalized anxiety disorder. I always thought I was too strong for that sort of thing but it hit me in the face. With the help of a great counselor I learned how to overcome anxiety and live the way I want. I made a promise to myself that I would return the favor for others. That’s how you find me here. If you are experiencing anxiety in any form I can help you regain control and find peace.
I will listen to you with care and never judge. Then I will invite you to consider new perspectives. We’ll work together as a team to reach your goals. We can do this together. I offer face to face, email, chat, phone, video and virtual reality sessions.
I work with all kinds of challenges that you might be facing. I have the most experience with: anxiety; depression; self-image; sexuality; sex-therapy; trauma; & relationships.
My master’s degree is in marriage and family therapy from Argosy University Denver. I am a registered psychotherapist in the state of Colorado.

Being matched up with Ares as my counselor I feel was a great fit. He’s very patient with my sporadic thinking and gives me sound acknowledgment and advice to help me make sense of my way of living and and to improve quality of life.

He is a great guy and always puts things into perspective. I think being able to share with him online has definitely helped me, but I still got some work to do! I’m headed in the right direction though.

I am thankful for Ares for his time spent helping me. I really appreciate it. I just want to say that I do feel much better now – much more grounded, and I am able to deal with my issues, concerning derealization. It was definitely his support that contributed to it and helped me question my fear and understand that there’s really nothing to worry about – I just need to enjoy the moment.

Ares has been a good sounding board and brings a sense of reality back to the situation! Mostly, I just wanted to appease my wife by doing some counseling; and maybe validate that I wasn’t crazy while maintaining my position on the subject, but as someone who doesn’t normally reach out and talk to really anyone about my feelings or thoughts. Ares was easy to talk to, and is an interesting guy! Chatting here and there using my phone/app was easy and I could engage when it was right for me vs being held to a schedule.
