You may choose to limit what information you provide but by so doing you limit your access to functions and services offered on this Platform. Professional counselors are not able to provide therapeutic services such as counseling sessions, email therapy, etc. without certain PII. For these services you provide your name, address, and contact information. Your privacy is further protected when you initiate any and all counseling services by statements of practices and confidentiality which will be presented to you at the time you initiate these services.
You may wish to participate in forums and groups which allow you to converse with other users of the Platform. They will be able to view your username and have whatever limited access you grant to your profile. They will not have access to PII unless you provide it. Your use of public areas of the Platform such as forums, groups, and direct messaging with other users constitutes your acknowledgement that any information you choose to share on your profile or in your participation is not protected under this privacy policy and your agreement to hold eTherapyPro.com blameless for any misuse of said information.

Our Platform is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We use regular Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

If we are unable to resolve the dispute you agree that if you choose to escalate the matter you will next proceed to mediation and then arbitration. Likewise should any dispute occur between yourself and eTherapyPro.com you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter with us. If we are unsuccessful and you determine to escalate the matter you agree to next proceed to mediation and then arbitration.
COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under 13, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.
